Ramadan, Workers’ Day Celebration: Lagos declares Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday public holidays

The Lagos State Government has declared Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 2,3, 4, as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration and International Workers Day.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Head Of Service Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Today.

The statement quoted the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola as making the declaration on behalf of the Lagos State government in Lagos.

According to the statement, the Head of Service congratulated Muslims and called on all Nigerians to use the period of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration to pray for peace, stability and economic transformation in the country.
