We Are Not Recruiting, Tescom, Warns Against Fraudsters

The Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mrs. Olubusola Abidakun has called on everyone seeking appointment into the Lagos State Teaching Service to disregard any directive trending in the social media lately, especially as it relates to Recruitment by the Commission.

This directive, which she described as fictitious, requests applicants with specific subjects, (CRS, History, Yoruba, Agriculture) to bring their applications to the Commission’s Headquarters on Thursday.

The Commission hereby stated unequivocally that the purported directive is fake, fraudulent and does not emanate from the TESCOM.
The commission therefore warned the public to be wary of such baseless information.

Mrs. Abidakun reiterated that Recruitment into the Lagos State Teaching Service is strictly online and only through the employment portal of the commission.

She advised those seeking appointment into the Teaching Service of the State to watch out for Official Announcement of the opening of TESCOM Portal for application.

She warned job seekers to be wary of fraudster and impostors, as Lagos State does not engage in clandestine Recruitment, as employment into the Public Service is based on merit.
