Sheikh Raji also encouraged them to make provision for their retirement.
He however charged them to guide against greedy acquisition of wealth at the expense of the members of the public.

He also advocated the use of Zakat to empower people saying the emphasis should be on teaching how to fish, not giving them fish.
‘Zakat is meant to empower people. Let us use it to establish farms, shops and factories, schools which will make people to be productive.
‘People should use their natural endowments to be useful and productive’, he said.
The MUTAN Chairman for Alimoso Zone, Mr Rasaki Abolaji, in his address implored all Muslim teachers in secondary and primary schools to take active parts in the affairs of MUTAN.
While deploring the lukewarm attitude of primary school teachers in the zone to MUTAN, He appealed to secondary school teachers who know Muslim teachers in the primary schools to help appeal to them to come on board.
‘MUTAN is not only for secondary school teachers. We want the primary school teachers in our fold’, he said.
He also charged Muslim teachers to support Muslim female students who put on Hijab saying Hijab is a constitutional issue which has come to stay.
The event also witnessed conferment of award on deserving Muslim teachers who have put in meritorious service.
